Nah, they are calling Kerry a flim-flam man. America is a place where flim-flam men flourish, especially American politics. Out in the country, like Wyoming, you either work or you die. You can't flim-flam your way into survival for long, so flim-flam men hang out in big cities where there is an endless stream of marks. Flim-flam men specialize in marrying rich widows. They tell people they have special hats with magic powers. They say they went places they didn't go, and accomplished great feats they never did. And when all the people who know the truth stand up and tell it, flim-flam men better look out.
