<America is a place where flim-flam men flourish> I'd say less so than other places [outside the nutty religious side of life]. The USA is generally fairly straight [no allusion to homosexuality there] and when not straight, there are lots of people hunting down the truth. They send people to gaol/jail. Martha is serving time. That doesn't happen in NZ. Flim flam works only to a certain extent, then somebody pulls out a gun! Now THAT's objectivity! A bullet is very real. So is a gaol. Mqurice

So true, CB...Your words would make a great ad...The great difference in the red and blue areas of the country.... Out in the country, like Wyoming, you either work or you die. You can't flim-flam your way into survival for long, so flim-flam men hang out in big cities where there is an endless stream of marks. Flim-flam men specialize in marrying rich widows. They tell people they have special hats with magic powers. They say they went places they didn't go, and accomplished great feats they never did.
