Now, I'm a little confused about the end of your post. You seem to indicate that the daughter is also in the army. You wrote "son." The soldier who called home and asked mom to make a stink was a woman, which is why I wrote "she." No siblings were involved best I can tell. What part of my statement did you not understand? Whether the media brought the situation to the public's attention, or that it was meant to embarrass Bush? I understood the whole statement, I think. My point was that you have offered no support for your opinion that the story was published to embarrass Bush. Repetition of an assertion is not evidence of that assertion.
