Interesting thoughts on the Socialized Canadian medical situation, John. I mentioned here on this thread that we had heard the same type of things from our friends in Victoria.

I notice Alastair said this:

The US has 2 levels of Health Care - one for the poor and uninsured and another one entirely for the insured or wealthy. Fear mongers in Canada always point to the 40 million uninsured (a real problem here), but ignore the healthcare received by the other 250 million.

I didn't know Canada had two levels of care...Do you know what the difference is between the two? Price....Care....Expectations...?

Here is some statistical information on cardiac surgery wait times in Ont. Probably not nearly as bad as many believe.
