Saddam was manipulated into invading Kuwait to give the US an excuse to entrench itself in the Middle East. How long before Bush thaws out Osama?

Iraq was created by the Brits also, but I guess that wasn't mischievious, only Kuwait was. The Ottoman Turks lost the first World War. Thats why Iraq and Kuwait exist today. I've heard those same persistant rumors for years. I've never seen any proof either. If the UN had given SH a green light, then you'd have a case. But a verbal from a U.S. envoy...come on, that even if true isn't a deception, thats just foolishness by SH. What power does an envoy have. SH would have needed UN involvement to annex Kuwait, by undoing post World War I lines drawn.
