BookTV keeps the programs that they archive on the net for appr 2 months, which is why I "record" (copy) them to my hard-disk although that demands some program which can do that.

Additionally easier to listen-watch them from the hard disk.

There are at least 3-4? windows softwares available, some free-ware, some for $30-40-50.

However, one problem is how to "find them" later on, something I hope I will have time to write some software for this winter.

The combination C-SPAN + BookTV + BookNotes (all C-SPAN) have had Ivins as a guest maybe 3-4 times during the latest 5-6 years.

That is (for anyone who did not know)

- C-SPAN founded to air the US congress "live" in 1978??
(they just celebrated 25 years)
- now CSPAN1,2,3 plus radio
- during weekends, they run 48 hours of "books"

Some of it archived on internet, but there are sometimes "copy-right problems" as well as other "problems" to do that.

To "internet-record" from the "live stream" is slightly problematic, if "anything goes wrong everything goes wrong".
