CB, do you think that if the Federal Govt stopped paying for any part of abortions to any woman, that the issue could go back to the states where it belongs? I've thought that when the Feds started paying, partially or entirely, for abortion for women on welfare, that that's where we started having this a Federal issue. True or not?

Perhaps Rowe vs Waid should always stand. Perhaps the Feds should get out of the issue entirely. Perhaps the Feds should stop funding abortion...period. Perhaps those people who want to fund abortion privately should do so for the women who want/need one.

After all, the woman who has to make that decision has to live with that decision for the rest of her life.

The legal decision that has to be made is very difficult. Exactly when is killing a baby-to-be in the womb 'abortion' and when is killing a baby-to-be in the womb 'murder'....at what stage ......

If Scott Peterson is found guilty of Laci's death, did he murder one person, or two? The baby wasn't born yet.

This issue is not ever going to go away. At most, we can defederalize it and leave it to the states.
