You had better take a better look at the polls you keep citing. Some of those state by state numbers are months old, and almost all are before the debates.
The explosion of new voters have yet to be counted. That will be in November
gallup.com
The other fault is they don't account for margin of error.

Here is the most up to date state-by-state numbers, which tell a far different story. How amusing would it be if GW won the popular vote by a million votes, and lost all of the key swing states, and the election?
