When I saw you were quoting this, I thought of your description of your friends, and what they think about Bush.

And when I saw the paragraph, I thought how perfectly it fit this thread. <g>

I have long been a student of group dynamics. Yet I am still amazed by how pots keep calling kettles black. One of the things I sometimes do here is point that out, as I am right now. To no avail, of course, but I feel compelled to do it now and then lest I become too inured to it.

Yes, I have friends who have been known to demonize Bush. You may be surprised to know I intermittently call them on it, too.

On a related subject, I had lunch on Saturday with a friend who was opining on how biased Fox was and how neutral the rest of the media are. So I pointed out a couple of areas in which the MSM are not neutral. And I have been working on coming up with a good short list of the most conspicuous areas for her consideration at our next lunch outing. I was even thinking of asking the thread for feedback on it. <g>
