Well, it's rather difficult for me to believe that you really don't know why people like to sit around and talk about things they all believe in, rather than debating things they disagree about. Not everybody likes to debate, is one reason. Even the ones who do like to debate don't feel like debating all the time, is another. Sharing fellow feelings and agreeing with others is also pleasurable, is another. OK, that's ten bucks you owe me. Any other questions?
