It appears that US has entered another cold war civil war, reminiscent of the late sixties and early seventies.
Civil war? The '60s and 70s may have been a time of sharp political division, but they were hardly civil war.

It was sparked during the Clinton Administration and hasn't truly shaken the establishment yet.
How so? The Right despised Clinton, but he's gone now.

Bush will likely get elected over one issue, national security.
Appears likely. Not the first one, either.

Following that, all hell is going to break loose over Supreme Court Justice nominations, the environment, jobs, roe v wade, energy, etc.
The Dems will fight to the death to prevent the 5-4 divide on the USSC from becoming 6-3. It will depending on the balance in the Senate after the next elections.

A serious attempt to impeach Bush within 3 years and a fracturing of the system in the process.
Grounds? You gotta have a "high crimes and misdemeanors" charge.

Terror events will continue and could either divide us or unite us.
They'd better unite us.
