Elroy, Of course, and their job responsibilties are different. There is a reason one is called the Commander in Chief, and the other is, well, one of 100 Senators.

Hence the reason why any senator can get away with boneheaded decisions? Scary to think that one of those senators might be President.

There's a reason why senators traditionally have a hard time making it to the White House, and Kerry is a great example.
