would like to add my name to the growing list of veterans against john kerry. I served multiple tours in Viet Nam in the Air Force as an enlisted, and in the Army as a Warrant Officer helicopter pilot (OH-6A, Scout). Not once during any of my tours did I see any of the atrocities committed that john kerry has claimed to have been done by US Military personnel of any branch of the service. I did receive the Purple Heart, and it wasn't for scratching myself and putting a band aid on it. The other medals that I received were earned as well, and I did not write up my own citations and badger everyone in my chain of command to forward them. It is a disgrace that he has been able to get away with the lies and deceit for as long as he has. I lost all faith in the news media in the US during the Viet Nam War. They were lairs then with an agenda, and they are still today. It is going to take all of us to see to it that President George Bush is re-elected. May the good Lord show his mercy on the this great country of ours and watch over the brave men and women of the Armed Forces who protect the freedoms that we enjoy everyday. Records AVAILABLE Indicate Kerry did his Duty If he has nothing to hide why then does he not sign the form 180 and free himself from th secrecy surrounding his activities?????? KM I would be interested in seeing who testified as to his conduct when he applied for his medals. How did he obtain his first PH when the Dr. and his commanding officer told him to "forget it". as the wound was self inflicted according to Kerry's Oin C who was on the Boston Whaler when Kerry inflicted his own wound??? I believe it was Shachte(sp), then a Lt., now a retired Admiral. I'll take his word before Kerry's anytime.
