I think he might mind. <g>

Bush is leading by a LARGE percentage in the red states, Kerry is leading by a smaller percentage in the blue states. So Bush will get more popular votes for each elector vote he gets. In a close race that Kerry wins, Bush could easily win the popular vote (exact opposite of 2000).
