Bush's remark was taken out of context-----at that time the concern was Saddam and Iraq. Bush was right to indicate that Saddam was the priority at that time.

The remark about Cheney's daughter came with a visible smirk by Edwards when he said it-----it was obvious that he was deliberately making his statement to arouse minterest by the public. If you have access to the copy of the debate go back and view it and you will see what I mean.
