Yup. The company promoting that monster Alaska mine I mentioned here yesterday has one of those ".V" thingies on it's stock symbol. Cynics are saying it's a stock promotion, not a mine promotion. We'll see.

David and Bill, China, as in PBOC is most likely not accumulating gold, because what they buy, they sell.

What China is most definitely doing is encouraging private ownership of gold (obvious policies, definite laws, implemented trading platforms, widening distribution channels, public awareness campaigns, etc). This will prove, I believe, more powerful than the PBOC could ever be on its own, and smart.
