Gustave, what is it about Americans that make them not like smart people as much as the less than smart people?

On a different note, there's this website called www.hotornot.com and it's interesting what pollsters think. I was surprised with how the smart looking guys got lower scores than guys dressed in tattoos.

He is not smart.

And that's a plus... in America. Actually, Bush LOOKS as if he's not smart. As for Kerry, he'll lose because he looks TOO smart. Apply the Peter principle and you'll agree that most Americans --including Repubs-- would hail Kerry as the next Secretary of State, a new Kissinger, not a new JFK....


And if Kerry wins? What does that do to your theory?
