That genealogy appears to be Palatinate German, not Slavic. The timing of the immigration and the fact that they immigrated to Pennsylvania suggests that the immigrants were Quakers, Mennonites or Anabaptists. Pennsylvania was set up as a place where you could practice any religion, so a lot of religious refugees went there in the early 18th century.

My German ancestors also immigrated to Pennsylvania about that time, and some of their descendents, who still live there, are Mennonites and speak German at home.
