Why did Congress reissue Kerry his medals and ribbons five (5) days after he took the oath of office for the Senate in 1984? Was it because they were stripped from him under terms of his discharge?

He enlisted February 16, 1968. His first discharge displayed shows a result of a Presidential review committee from 1978. He should have been discharged in 1974, six years after his "enlistment" Kerry met with the enemy in 1972 in secret meetings in Paris. This is a traitorous act. In 1971 Kerry testified under oath in ront of Congress that he personally witnessed American servicemen commiting atrocities. This turns out to be a fabrication. It is considered by most Americans to have given aid and comfort to the enemy. That is a traitorous act.

Why is March 2001 listed as a discharge date? It was 30 years after he may have been first discharged dishonorably. Why won't Kerry sign his form 180?
