Dear Iqbal,

Re: Very sad.. Islam has become a hostage to insane lunatics,

How ironic. I was just saying the same thing today about Christians.

Did you hear the one about the trouble with Baptists? "The trouble with Baptists is that the baptism doesn't last nearly long enough...."

Here in the U.S., our so-called public broadcast radio, NPR, recently featured a news segment on radical Islam in Damascus, Syria. One of the people interviewed said he was radicalized when he traveled to Iraq and saw a U.S. Army tank with "Holy War, Inc." painted on the side by the crew.

To say that radical Islam is the problem we face is to disregard the bigger reality. Generalized "religious madness" is a better description of a multi-sect insanity we are observing today.
