re: "I am very concerned that such groups have registered people who are not qualified to vote," said Mr. Owens, a Republican.
Democrats quickly blasted Mr. Owens, insisting that he was trying to scare people away from the polls.
"This is the classic move by Republican tacticians: create an environment of fear that discourages voters from showing up on Election Day, for this is the only way they know how to win," said Susan Casey, state director of Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign.

I wonder is the qualification for voting would scare people away? Unless, of course, they are not qualified.....

Comment below is about a movie "Return with Honor" and of course we all know John Kerry did not return with honor after his little 4 month stint in Viet-Nam.

Answered by Colonel Tom McNish
The most important thing to have students take away from the movie is a better appreciation for the things that we have in such abundance and the things that we take for granted. Also, I would hope they gain some appreciation of the importance of personal honor. In our world today, so many people seem to adopt the attitude that if you can get away with it, it is good. Compare our lives today to the lives of those who compromised their honor for the short-term gain. We are SO much better off today than they are!!
