No, i agree. Thats why i switched from gore after he lost because he showed less honor than nixon did in 1960 when the dems were rigging the vote in chicago. That said, Electoral college is now a dangerous anachronism that must be removed. Only folks guaranteed visits and ads are the 7-10 states actually in contention. With one man, one vote, the big cities would be in play if only to reduce kerry lead from 70/30 to 60/40 thus changing thousands of votes. Black vote which is 90/10 only is relevant now in a few states. If republicans could get that vote up to 20% again it would be a big deal. And with our new favorite televangist couple John-boy and Tammy Fay Edwards, who knows what would happen? Dont be a reactionary on this one, NC--the EC has outlived its usefulness.
