Maybe the EC is correct in not overemphasizing the high concentrations of popuations in places like NYC, Miami, and California. It is possible that we would have a tyranny of the masses where the whole voting of the US would be controlled by the generally liberal voting patterns of urban markets.

Just because we are now beginning to test the limits of the Constitutional process does not mean that we should throw it away. To the contrary, the process of Constitutional law is even more important now that the margins of success are becoming so tight.
