You are correct that Andrea Mackris and associates have not been charged by the state or federal govt. with the crime of extortion. However, O’Reilly’s law suit starts out like this:

“1. This action responds to the Defendants’ extortion scheme…..”

Now… If O’Reilly is successful in proving his case shouldn’t we expect the state or federal govt. authorities to consider the matter in the criminal sense?

If he is just posturing to later settle out of court in the face of strong harassment evidence… then he deserves to lose his job and get punished to the extent of the law. I sure don’t want to watch him doing his show in the context of all this. Most people don’t so, like I said, he will probably lose his job just over the ickies of the whole thing.
