Exactly. For them to have been more effective, they should have been greater. So says the Nobel Prize winner in Economics.

I read numerous articles by economists that state non equivocally that Bush's tax cuts were ill-designed if the intent was to spur the economy. We all know that the spur the economy thing was just an excuse for a giveaway to the rich.

Are you suggesting people received more than 300 bucks? That's all I'm saying... and even so, it still helped to stimulate the economy... and if those in a higher bracket received a bigger cut, then they still pay more tax percentage wise than those who earn less.. you show me where someone who earns less is in a higher tax bracket than someone who earns more, this is impossible... TIA

By the way, criticizing an answer is no way to maintain a dialogue, try to keep it civil if you wish you discuss this...
