unclewest, I just heard a so-called expert on Nightline state
in no uncertain terms - If an officer orders a soldier into
combat (an ongoing battle) & that soldier only has two
bullets, that soldier has no choice. He cannot refuse that
order. His only choice is to obey that order or face serious
consequences for disobeying a direct order.

I missed what he specifically said the consequences were, but
they were quite serious charges.

Can you provide any insight to this?

FWIW, Nightline is playing up the alleged "suicide mission"
those soldiers refused to go on.
