No city by definition is safe from terrorists with nukes. I personally don't think any terrorists have nukes at the moment. I am also quite certain the VP shares my opinion. What amazes me is how stupid some people reacted to the VP's recent comments. The VP simply said, consider the dangers of the post 911 world and consider what is the best defense. Sitting back and waiting the kerry method, or going anywhere and everywhere to destroy the terrorists and not giving them a moments rest. But please go read the VP's speech, quote it directly and show how you would interpret the VP blaming kerry. kerry has never accomplished anything in his entire career. He has just sat back waited, watched and bitched. Well kerry is quite good at charming woman with lots of bucks. Iran, may or may hot now have the tech to make nudes. It likely can in a few years. Iraq I believe will be getting much better in the next year. Iran may crumble on it's own. What is the best path for Iran, I cannot say at this moment. North Korea may have nukes now. One can hope the nut in North Korea will not use them. One can hope he knows it is suicide. Getting a multilateral solution as the President is doing is in fact the best course of action for now. In addition I've heard US troops are moving further away from the DMZ toward the southern end of Korea. This means a missile defense system has a much better chance of taking out any missile the North Koreans launch. Again I seems wise to me. And of course the missile defense technology and systems were fought 100% by kerry and friends. kerry says no nuclear bunker busters. That is stupid in my opinion.
