Sébab itu saya tidak perchaya As I said the language has undergone evolutionary changes. "perchaya" was spelled "pertjaja" which was then changed to "percaya", but "believe" is never spelled as "perchaya" which probably is the correct spelling in Malay. Now if one is used to the word "pertjaja" he must then changes to the word "percaya" ("tj" becomes "c", and "j" becomes "y", and "dj" becomes "j"). The old spelling "doeloe" has changed to "dulu" since "oe" now is "u". Just some a small example.
