I still haven't figured out which Christchurch, Norway she came from let alone which ship. Her maiden name was Olsen......that isn't going to help me much I fear. Immigrants I run into at the store are usually too busy working to strike up more than a polite conversation. Most immigrants I meet are married to men who take care of them so they can attend school. One of my best friends is an immigrant from Micronesia. She has been here for 25 years and just now seems to be coming around to the concept of individuality. Unfortunatley, she's married to a very liberal man, and she's developed a huge distrust of conservatives. We manage, but I wonder how our relationship would be if we had just met?
