When one thinks "end justifying the means", Iraq war on wrong premise comes to mind.

There was no "wrong premise". There were MANY PREMISES. WMD? It is clear that given Saddam's payoff to Chirac and Putin, Saddam would have been back in the WMD business soon. Besides, the reasons for going to Iraq were many as stated by the Administration.

Clear? Clear as mud. Its clear to you only because you want it to be clear.

The administration has stated atleast the following reasons in chronological order (more or less) to go to war.
1. "yellow cake' story to link saddam with nuclear weapons.
2. Powell's famous photo/powerpoint presentation proving Iraq has WMD.
3. Cheney famous "proving saddam has WMD would be a slam dunk" quote.
4. Saddam give given price money to families of suicide bombers and is so is linked to terrorist.
5. One of the Al-WQueda members lived in Iraq once.
6. Saddam is good riddance. It's good for humanity to get rid of the tyrant like him.
7. And the latest : saddam paid off Germany and russia, so embargo would be lifted, and then he can possibly get his hands on WMD.

Gee, why did you not tell us about #7, 18 months ago, before starting the war (-: ?

Do you still believe all of the above are true, or do you believe that Bush/cheney misled us on many of these ? or all this does not matter at all, since #6 is good enough (which goes to my claim that the "end justfies the means"), even though most of the reasons are proven to be false ?

"Comment (about Bush's childish temper tantrum) not worthy of a response"

I wonder why ? Is it because :
1. You agree and there is nothing to discuss as 60+ million people watched him scowl and make angry face, when confronted.
2. You think "scowl" and "bolting from the seat and rudely intrerupting the moderator" is technically not the same as "childish temper tantrum" and is liberal logic.
3. Like Karl Rove said - Bush was not angry, he was having really good fun out there.
4. Real men do not admit mistakes and doing that is a sign of weakness.
5. it's plain too hard to introspect and entertain even a passing thought, that this administration is capable of mistakes.

No, i am not expecting an answer. Though it is very fascinating to try to understand your (and a lot of avid bush supporters) line of thinking.

Bum.
