Kerry cannot be bought. Bush was bought by George Schultz, Enron and other energy companies back when Bectel's CEO first approached GW to run for governor. On one condition, that he had to stop drinking. You wonder why Bush allows such huge energy gouging and no-bid contratcs. That is the reason. It's payback time. Kerry has no one he needs to pay back. Hollywood money doesn't demand anything in return. Plus he needs to do common sense tort reform just to take that issue off the table, mainly because of Edwards. Get rid of frivolous lawsuits with a three strikes you're out rule against lawyers. So who else? He has never taken PAC or soft money. Very little from the Unions compared to past Dem candidates.
