They continue to think of this as a criminal case, so that only guilt beyond a reasonable doubt could trigger invasion. Instead, of course, it is a war, in which one operates on best intelligence and moves against serious threats before they become intolerable.

The only potentially criminal case that needs discussing is most certainly not in the area of terrorism, but whether Bush and his inner circle on the National Security Council have committed crimes against the state. Committing the country to an unjustified war certainly should be an impeachable offense, at the very least.
