The US economy does have one very strong positive going for it. To wit -- over 100 million highly talented and willing slaves in Japan whose only purpose in life is to produce high quality goods for US consumers (who live MUCH better than they do) in exchange for a flood of rapidly depreciating paper.

Japan -- the second largest economy on earth -- continues to act like a third world US colony. How could a once proud nation sink so low?
