This was one major "trans-atlantic" point some 8-10? years ago in terms of global "aid-workers" (keeping aid personnel "clean")

However, another point was that sending out some young students for a couple of months, maybe even a year, having them living in "special, walled communities", only to teach them that "those people outside" do not even have toilets, showers and they smell and speak some weird language, is a total waste of monies.

That is, marrying and living for 30 years does not belong to this group?? (which is what is needed)

PS However, above aid issues are more a question of "mud-huts" in Africa, not about Iraq..
