Lots of little things. Just painting something as liberal is not enough to dismiss an issue. Conversely, "family values" isn't a useful label any more. There are growing numbers of people who go out of their way to identify themselves as liberal instead of hiding. There is active concern about eroding access to health care, job outsourcing, etc.

The most telling sign is the fundamentalist are getting panicky about losing influence.
