But the thoughtful acknowledgement of complexity and up and down sides (and it's cohort that includes complexity and nuance) is a very healthy thing. Watching a president eschew it is disconcerting

So why don't you define what you're talking about?
I mean, really, "the thoughtful acknowledgement of complexity
and up and down sides and it's (sic) cohort that includes complexity and nuance"... what the heck does that MEAN?

and then you can indicate why it's so disconcerting to watch a president eschew it........

>>I don't support Kerry. I simply voted against Bush.

No, Ma'am. You voted FOR Kerry.

And if Kerry is elected, you will be, in part, responsible for whatever he does as President.

I don't have a problem with saying the same thing about Bush. I will vote for him, and I will be, in part, responsible for everything he does as President.

I may not like everything he does, but I am mature enough to recognize that fact. Actions have consequences.

"I realize that reading my posts can be challenging"

You've never been more clear. And I completely agree with you
on that point.
