I am well aware of the general gullibility of most people. It is what makes a contrarion investment strategy much easier to accept (mentally). Like most here, we count on the gullibility of the sheeple. I understand it but I am still amazed by it and often shake my head at it. People simply cannot think for themselves and if that means they are suckers for 'manipulative' advertising, well, that is their loss. How many times to people have to read stories of such 'manipulation' before they pick up on it? These people have simply closed the blinds in their minds to any type of independant thinking. And I could care less if these people run up thousands of dollars in CC debts. Stupid is as stupid does as Forrest Gump would say. I am sure many here have spent time TRYING to convince friends and relatives about the REAL economic story over the past few years. And I am sure most, like me, have given up trying to explain to these people how hurt they are going to be. I did my time, I tried my best but that is all done now. Let these people learn the hard way.
