Import the ethanol where it can be produced more efficiently. Basically stopping sending money to the OPEC countries and send it to the countries in the tropical belt. Most likely Brazil.

I think I'll look into sugar beets :o) They like it cool...

BTW Malcolm aren't they using plain old NG to make Methanol nowadays ?
