Ted, re: You're joking? Next it will be the Nascar drivers.

Actually Nascar track owners are included this year! See below:

I just got off the phone with my cousin in FLA. He is shocked that I am voting for Kerry. Why, I don't know. During the course of the ensuing discussion/argument, he started to throw some facts my way. One of the big ones.......while we have lost only 1000+ soldiers, the Iraqis have lost over a 1/2 million soldiers and civilians. I was in shock.......I asked him where he was getting that number.......from his patients and drugs reps who were over there and now are back.

Can you screwing believe it? And my cousin was adamant that those numbers were correct. I went ballistic and told him to stop saying stuff like that.......people will think he was nuts.

And then he gets into the whole malpractice/lawsuit issue, claiming that the Dems are the problem and that someone like Edwards should be shot. So then I asked him what happened to the tort reform legislation that was in Congress during the past year? He said it didn't get passed by the House.......I said how come? Your buddies control the House. At first, he couldn't answer it; then finally he admitted that some GOPers must have joined in with the Dems.

My cousin is an MD. He's not stupid. Its unbelievable that he wants to be this clueless. People like him will be voting for Bush for all the wrong reasons and feeling good about it.
