Why is it that people like you don't understand that we didn't even have a real draft until 1967? Do you even know what a deferment is? Did you even have a draft card?

Saying Cheney shirked his duty while Kerry didn't is like accusing Lincoln of dodging the Revolutionary War. Different time, different circumstance.

BTW, Edwards is the right age to have served in Vietnam. I don't have a clue as to why he didn't.
