I still think Ted Turner is right: a 50/50 chance for the human species to survive another 50 years.

Biological weapon, that's my bet. A half-decent scientist [in 50 years, half decent will be good enough] will put together a bio-weapon that will spread like the wind and decimate the world's population before anyone can develop something to stop it. If the bio-weapon doesn't get you the cholera or typhus will take it's toll.

Then we can start over again with the few that are left and see if we can get it right.
