You list as facts items that are irrelevant. Only after Hillary's 1993 bill forced the closure of 4 of the 5 flu vaccine manufacturers did the British Chiron become a factor. See this is what I mean about misinformation and a shortage of facts. First of all, Chiron is not British, its an American firm out of the Bay area. Secondly, the US orders x number of orders each year. It may be 4 or 5 companies bid on the right to produce a vaccine but then its usually whittled down to one or two companies. The reason being is that it takes up to six months to produce the vaccine. So the US gov't decided some time ago not to leave it to the free market and line up the producers well in advance. Can you understand their reasoning? The profit margins on vaccines suck.....my cousin, an MD, doesn't give vaccines because he can't make money giving them. So Chiron was one of the winners this year. They decided to make the vaccines in their new UK facility. The facility nor the vaccines passed muster; hence, the shortage. I do not expect you to admit that which is true but does not reflect well upon Democrats. You have established your partisanship. You can be reasonable, but at times decline the opportunity. How does the above reflect poorly for the Dems.? The screw up wasn't due to them. Listen, after hearing my cousin adamantly insist tonite that 500k Iraqis were killed during shock and awe, I realize the truth it so garbled among the right that people are believing all kinds of weird conspiracy stories.
