It only takes some minutes of googling, although nothing as a really severe brain damage, but at that point, regular human rights are still valid in some parts of the world.

We can say the same of the Us invasion on Iraq. Hmmm...

Plus, unlike the threat Iran posed to Iraq, sitting right there on its border, hostile, and very very religious (remember, poor Saddam was an "infidel"), Iraq posed no threat to us (except, of course, for your argument that Saddam had the "intention" to do something to us "if" he could, at some time in the future...)
