If the city you lived in passed a law that said you had to work half a day for the city. The law stipulates that you will work for 1/2 you normal pay rate. Would you be incented to continue to work there? Would you consider working in another city? Vaccine manufacturers made the rational choice to maximize profits by exiting an industry with no potential. If the forced sale of 55% of the vaccine at 5-% discounts was not enough, the trial bar is circling their wagons to attack vaccine makers. If your wages were reduced by more than a forth and you were being threatened by litigation because of your place of work, would you quit your job?
