China's Q3 GDP to grow 9.3 pct; full year GDP up 9 pct - report BEIJING (AFX) - China's gross domestic product is expected to grow 9.3 pct year on year in third quarter, down 0.3 percentage points from the second quarter and 0.4 percentage points from the first, the Beijing-based Economy Information Daily reported, citing a top Chinese statistics official. "The GDP is expected to expand 9.3 pct in the third quarter, while the growth rate for the full year should reach 9 pct", the newspaper quoted Tang Youcheng, director of the survey department at China's National Bureau of Statistics, as saying

"China's economy will cool off further in 2005, with the GDP expected to grow 8.8 pct," Tang said. Fixed asset investments (FAI) will also gradually lose steam, according to the statistics official. "The FAI growth rate this year will slip back to 30 pct or lower," Tang told the newspaper
