Russ:

Interesting the way the mainstream media distorts things. This from Bloomberg...

Headline: "China's Economic Growth Slows on Credit Restrictions"

Followed by...

"Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) -- China's economy expanded 9.1 percent in the third quarter, its slowest pace in more than a year, suggesting that Premier Wen Jiabao's efforts to cool growth are succeeding. The expansion from a year earlier reported by the government in Beijing compares with a 9.6 percent increase in the second quarter..."

So much for "China's Economic Growth Slows"! At a continued rate of 9%, the drawdown in oil and base metals is not going to go away.

Howy
