KyrosL,

Speaking of dividends is anyone else playing the big divvie on MLI, one of Buffett's companies? Pay date is 10/26, which I believe is the date you need to buy by (since it is a rather *large* divvie). The ex-div is 10/27

Please, please do your own DD, because I am not an expert on special divvies and only know from FRO in May that the ex date was the day after the payment.

The company is pretty solid, relatively low PE, at $38 yesterday. Maybe it begns to move today to Tuesday. Since the 52 wk low is $29.85 I wonder if the ex-div date will drive it down by the $14.50 dividend? I'm interested in the debentures myself.

Cheers,

David
