A pretty good look at how the stand alone MP3 player market is progressing. The hard drive based players are growing fast but Sigmatel sees more potential for flash-based players as prices continue to drop. sigmatel.com One rather disconcerting data point....they stated during their CC that continued price drops in SLC have lessened the competitive advantage for MLC. I dont know if this was a one quarter phenemenon (as Samsung's price cuts were larger than Sandisk's last quarter) or if this has been a multi-quarter trend. Slacker
