I will note that Bush and his administration has done more than any other government to help the dispossessed there, but the genocide continues unabated.

Yes, we NEED the UN but once again they cannot really seem to get anything done. I hope they can get their act together for the Darfur's fo the world.

Unfortunately, those were mere words when officials said a genocide like Rwanda would never happen again, only several years ago.

Don't think the government there isn't aware that the reason they can continue the Darfur genocide is that America is stuck in Iraq. As more bad actors wake up to this, we'll see more worldwide evil perpatrated, due to Bush's blunder of the century.
