Sorry MPH I could not disagree more . She was uninformed about Laura. She and Laura embraced one another after the debates. Theresa is an intelligent woman. She doesn't take a backseat to anyone. I like that. It pains me that the better half of a candidate must take the rumble seat instead of driving. It's a pose methinks. Those running the campaigns dictate a lot how one should behave.. Smile here, don't smile there... Act interested. Whatever. I don't know what you mean by elitist. Isn't Laura Bush elitist ? Hillary reared Chelsa... and Teresa reared her children. You know we cannot control what socio economic status we are born into. Hillary was certainly middle class. Theresa.. well she is an heir. When one speaks of elitist I think of the Skull and Bones. Now, there's an example of elitism. Glad that you are pro choice. I am too.. but against abortion.. How one reconciles the two is the Catch 22 of the issue. I was a voyeur to the women's movement that evolved when I as still teaching. Being close to New York City there was a lot of activity. What a liberating time for younger women. I was reared in such a male dominated world. From Father to bosses. Do you know when I was growing up the only appropriate choice for a career.. God forbid you didn't marry and even needed a career... was Nurse,social worker,librarian,teacher or secretary. NEVER heard Dr. Lawyer,Indian Chief. We have come along way. I do not begrudge Laura,Theresa,Hillary any of their fortune. And I truly do not see how the latter two impugn women.
